1. The service
Genuine Connections Illawarra provides membership, community events and introduction services. Applying or paying does not guarantee approval, a match, a relationship outcome or admission to every event. Membership access begins only after the required application and safety checks are completed and the application is approved.
2. Member responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, be at least 18 years old, keep your account secure, communicate respectfully, follow event instructions and protect other members’ privacy. Harassment, threatening conduct, impersonation, misuse of member information or conduct that places others at risk may result in suspension or cancellation.
3. Membership and event access
Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Event places are subject to capacity, eligibility and any stated age group. Essential members pay the standard member event price, Connection members receive 10% off eligible event tickets, and Premium members receive 15% off eligible event tickets. Discounts are calculated automatically from the active membership at booking and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
4. Payments
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Online card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details. A booking or membership is not paid until Stripe confirms the payment or staff records an approved offline payment. A Checkout return page alone is not proof of payment.
5. Events and safety
Event details may reasonably change. Members remain responsible for their own decisions, transport, conduct and personal safety. Genuine Connections Illawarra may refuse entry or remove a person where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or event management.
6. Intellectual property and privacy
Website content belongs to Genuine Connections Illawarra or its licensors. Member information must not be copied or published. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, another member’s conduct or outcomes that are outside our reasonable control.
8. Contact and changes
Questions may be sent to hello@genuineconnectionsillawarra.com.au. We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a new version. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated where reasonably required.
